Leopards Valley and surrounding habitats feature a mix of highveld grassland and acacia woodland species, including Acacia Pied Barbet, African Fish-Eagle, and various sunbirds. The area is known for diverse raptors and common woodland birds such as Cape Robin-Chat, Southern Boubou, and various weavers.
